      Starting its work at nine in the morning, the festive square quickly filled with guests. The "My Village" and "City of Masters" areas welcomed everyone with national treats and demonstrations of folk customs and crafts. It was from here that the delegation with the leadership and honorary guests of the district began their visit to Sabantuy. The guests immersed themselves in the atmosphere of rural life and traditions. The Tatar, Russian, Chuvash, and Udmurt national cultural centers of the district hosted guests in thematically decorated zones, each telling about their culture and offering visitors to try traditional treats. After the warm reception, many joined in the dances and round dances. The central square became the venue for the main events. The Sabantuy was ceremoniously opened with a dance composition based on the traditional games of this holiday. The audience did not spare their applause for the spectacular performance prepared by the district's artists. The head of the Bavlinsky district, Ilyas Guzairov, addressed those gathered from the stage, and then, on behalf of the Republic's President, the deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan, Ryagat Khusainov, congratulated the residents. After that, the presentation of awards and distinctions to the residents of the district – representatives of various professions who have achieved success in their fields – began. Together with the deputy head of the agricultural management, the head of the district also noted the main heroes of the holiday – the heroes of the harvest. The other guests had no time to be bored. The sports square offered to try their hand at pull-ups, pole walking, speed racing, running with a yoke, tug-of-war, and arm wrestling. The "Island of Childhood" square also became very popular. For the youngest guests, there was a concert by the students of the Children's Art School, a drawing area with easels, and active games were organized. One of the most spectacular moments of the holiday was the national wrestling Kurash. The competitions for the title of absolute hero took place simultaneously on two mats. This year, 58 wrestlers from different age categories from Bavly, Tuymaz, Oktyabrsky, Yutazinsky district, and Novosibirsk participated in the competitions. As a result of the intense bouts, the winners of the Sabantuy competitions were determined. The title of absolute hero was won by the Bavlin wrestler Ilmir Sabirov, and the title of young hero was also awarded to the local wrestler Azamat Gazymov. The winners in their categories were ceremoniously awarded by the honorary guests of the holiday. The absolute hero and the young hero were presented with the main prizes – rams.

      The Sabantuy holiday brought joy, good spirits, and unforgettable moments to all participants. It preserves the age-old traditions of the Tatar people, which the Bavlins carefully pass down from generation to generation.
