Representatives of the Kazan Diocese visited the lecture hall of the "Mosaic of Cultures" festival.

      On June 12, a lecture was held at the site of the Presence Places of the Kazan Kremlin as part of the ethnoconfessional festival "Mosaic of Cultures." The event was attended by the clergy of the Kazan Diocese, teachers, and students of the Kazan Orthodox Theological Seminary. The festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in collaboration with the House of Friendship of Tatarstan and the Assembly of Peoples of Tatarstan. During the lecture, speakers included Alexey Mikhailovich Zinovyev, director of the branch of the Russian Society "Knowledge" in the Republic of Tatarstan; Natalia Mikhailovna Topal, a veteran of military operations, associate professor of the Department of Sociology, Political Science, and Management at KNITU-KAI named after A.N. Tupolev, and a member of the Commission on Education, Science, and Enlightenment of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan; Alsu Munibovna Asadullina, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan; Father Vladimir Samoylenko, secretary of the Diocesan Council of the Kazan Diocese; and Ainaz Hazrat Zaripov. The participants discussed issues related to the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, as well as the influence of religious worldview on personality, culture, education, and the upbringing of the younger generation. "The topic of strengthening traditional spiritual values is particularly relevant in today's conditions. For the students of the spiritual school, participation in the lecture became an important opportunity to reflect on the significance of spiritual and moral guidelines in society. Future pastors are called not only to preserve these values but also to help people find the right direction in a complex and rapidly changing world," noted Father Vladimir.
