       A new version of the rules for using the subway in Kazan will come into effect soon, significantly expanding the list of prohibited actions and items for transportation.

       According to the published draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is currently undergoing mandatory anti-corruption expertise, fortune-telling, begging, and offering goods and services to passengers will officially be prohibited in the metro. The document introduces strict restrictions for passengers with means of transportation: bicycles and electric scooters, except for children's models, will only be allowed to be transported in special cases or packaging, and moving on them throughout all metro infrastructure will be strictly prohibited. A separate point specifies the inadmissibility of leaving strollers and other means of transportation unattended, as well as attaching them to handrails and barriers. Additionally, open flames, bonfires, and the use of any pyrotechnic products are now strictly prohibited not only in carriages and on infrastructure objects but also within 10 meters of the barriers and closer than 25 meters from metro ventilation kiosks. The new rules also clarify that children under 7 years old can be transported without providing a separate seat, but they must be in close proximity to the accompanying adult, and special non-automated checkpoints will be provided for the passage of passengers with packed bicycles and scooters. Furthermore, a categorical ban on transporting items received from third parties without undergoing inspection procedures is proposed. It was previously reported that the turnover of organizations in Tatarstan increased by almost 10% in the first four months of the current year.
