The Abilympics championship in Kazan will help SVO fighters find jobs.

      In Kazan, the championship of professional skills "Abilympics" will be held for the second time for participants of the special military operation. According to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, the competition will help former fighters not only return to civilian life but also take a worthy place in the economy.

      The championship will take place in Kazan from June 26 to July 1. The competitions are organized at the request of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. This is already the second time that the capital of Tatarstan hosts such a large-scale event. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko expressed the opinion that the championship will help former fighters not only adapt to civilian life but also take a worthy place at the forefront of the Russian economy. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the country. The Deputy Chairman of the Government reminded that "Abilympics" is part of the national project "Youth and Children." Participants will be able to demonstrate their skills in twenty-one competencies. In addition to the main competitions, the organizers have provided seven demonstration areas.

      Winners will receive prizes from partners and will be able to find future employers. Chernyshenko noted that the President has set the task of prioritizing employment and training for participants of the special military operation.

      The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergey Kravtsov, added that today participants of the special operation and their children are admitted to colleges under special conditions. They have a preferential right to enrollment. This mechanism helps heroes not to waste time and immediately transition from recovery to professional growth. The department responds sensitively to their requests, adapts educational programs, and approaches training individually.

      According to Kravtsov, the competitions in Kazan confirm that willpower can turn any limitations into new opportunities. Determination, perseverance, and the skills of the contestants serve as the best example for the younger generation.

      As part of the business program of the championship, there will be a plenary session, round tables, and master classes. Cultural and sports programs are also planned.

      State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Defense, and Chair of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Fund Anna Tsivileva noted that "Abilympics" provides veterans with a unique opportunity to acquire new professional skills and master in-demand specialties. Despite injuries, defenders strive not only to realize themselves but also to benefit society and the country. The adaptation of participants of the special military operation to civilian life is a crucial task for the fund, and the championship helps to solve it.
