In Tatarstan, a unique assembly and testing center "Kazancompressormash" has started operations, which was launched via video link by Vladimir Putin together with the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov. The President personally congratulated the factory staff and emphasized that the emergence of such an innovative facility is critically important for strengthening the technological sovereignty of the country.
The high-tech production facility located in Zelenodolsk specializes in the production of powerful domestic compressor units for large-scale liquefaction of gas. This strategic project has been implemented within the framework of the state Concept for Technological Development until 2030 to replace imported equipment in the LNG industry. Despite the harsh external sanctions pressure, the Russian LNG industry demonstrates resilience and confident export growth. The development of domestic machine engineering, including the launch of unique complexes for the production of ultra-powerful large-scale compressors, allows the country to consistently replace imported technologies and guarantees the successful implementation of strategic LNG projects in the long term.
