      Seismologists recorded a series of underground tremors near Sevastopol

      Five earthquakes occurred in the Black Sea near Sevastopol. The maximum recorded magnitude was 3.3. This was reported by Marina Bondar, deputy director of the Institute of Seismology and Geodynamics of the Crimean Federal University, to RIA Novosti. The epicenter of the seismic activity was located at a depth of five kilometers and 30 kilometers from the coast of Sevastopol. One of the earthquakes, which occurred at 06:14, was felt by the city's residents. According to seismologists, the first tremors were registered at 05:09 Moscow time, and the last tremor with a magnitude of 2.8 occurred at 07:11. Previously, high seismic activity was noted in Kamchatka, where 25 earthquakes with magnitudes up to 6.9 occurred in one day.
