      In Tatarstan, the acceptance of applications for participation in the fourteenth annual open republican television festival of creative working youth "Our Time - Безнең заман" has officially started. The application campaign has already begun and will last until October 2, 2026, so those wishing to showcase their talents have enough time to prepare and submit their applications. This year, the festival is dedicated to the Year of Military and Labor Valor, which gives the event a special patriotic significance and reminds us of the importance of preserving historical memory and respecting the feats of our ancestors. Representatives of enterprises, institutions, and organizations in Tatarstan aged from eighteen to thirty-five are invited to participate in the creative competition. Participants can perform either solo or as part of a team, allowing those who are used to working alone to showcase their talents, as well as those who feel empowered by collective creativity. For those older and willing to take on the role of mentors, the organizers have provided special conditions: the number of participants aged thirty-six to forty must not exceed fifty percent of the total number of youth in the team, and in the age categories from forty-one to forty-five and from forty-six to fifty, no more than twenty-five percent each. This is done to ensure that the festival maintains its primary focus on a young, actively developing audience. The remaining rules remain unchanged and are well known to regular participants. Each contender for victory must be a full-time employee of an organization in the production, service, or service sector with a confirmed work experience of at least six months at their primary place of employment and at a full rate. An important clarification: employees in the cultural sector, for whom performances in the nominated categories are a professional activity, are not allowed to participate. No organizational fee is charged from participants, making the festival accessible to all interested.

      This year, the qualifying stages will take place in three cities of the republic. The first to host the competition will be Naberezhnye Chelny, where the events will take place on October 16 and 17. Then it will be Almetyevsk's turn, where the qualifying rounds will be held on October 23 and 24. The zonal stages will conclude in Zelenodolsk on November 6 and 7. The creative competition includes three main nominations: musical direction, dance direction, and "Minute of Glory." In each of them, participants will be able to showcase their talents and compete for the title of the best. At the end of the competitive days of each zonal stage, gala concerts will be held, during which the winners in various nominations will be announced and the results of the overall team standings will be summarized. Laureates and winners of the zonal rounds will receive a ticket to the final of the festival, which will take place in Kazan on November 13 and 14. On November 16, a grand gala concert will be held on the stage of the KRK "Pyramid," where the best of the best will gather. It is here that the name of the Grand Prix winner of the festival will be revealed. The winning team will receive a diploma, the transitional Cup of the Head of Tatarstan, and a cash prize of five hundred thousand rubles. Additionally, an honorary title "Hero of Our Time" has been established for participants, the holder of which will receive a prize of three hundred thousand rubles. Over the years of its existence, the festival of working youth "Our Time - Безнең заман" has already covered thirteen thousand young workers from more than a thousand enterprises across all municipal formations of Tatarstan. This is truly a large-scale movement that unites talented and active youth throughout the republic. Importantly, the festival has not only a competitive but also an educational focus. Within its framework, master classes in acting, stage movement, plasticity, stage speech, choreography, vocals, and hosting are conducted by masters of arts from Tatarstan and Russia. This is a unique opportunity for young people not only to showcase themselves but also to learn new skills from recognized professionals. Applications are accepted on the official website of the festival. The event is held with the support of the Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the republic, the Ministry of Youth Affairs, and several other departments. The project is authored by the Regional Youth Public Organization "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk," and the festival is held under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, emphasizing its high status and significance.
