About 74% of participants in the special military operation who returned to Tatarstan are employed. This was reported today by the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of Tatarstan, Elmira Zaripova, at a round table titled "Employment Centers 'Work of Russia' – the main intermediary between employers and participants of the special military operation." The event took place as part of the championship in professional skills among participants of the special military operation "Abilympics" in Kazan. "We conduct consultations and surveys. A website 'Care for Our Own' has been organized, where all measures regarding social protection, employment, and retraining are collected. The foundation of this work lies in significant interaction with the branch of the 'Defenders of the Fatherland' fund, military enlistment offices, and interdepartmental commissions," she said. According to Zaripova, the register of employers willing to hire participants of the special military operation includes more than 500 enterprises and organizations. They currently offer 1,700 vacancies. Additionally, specialized job fairs for veterans of the special military operation are regularly held in the republic. With the help of government support funds, they are starting their own businesses.
"The amount of support is 250,000 rubles for starting a business, and 350,000 rubles under a social contract," Zaripova noted. Furthermore, in the region, veterans of the special military operation are being retrained for in-demand professions in the labor market.
