The deputy military commissioner of the Almetyevsk district has become involved in a criminal case.

      Law enforcement has initiated a criminal case against the deputy military commissioner of the Almetyevsky district, Vladimir Zaitsev. He is suspected of mediating in bribery (part 4 of article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). As reported by Chelny-biz.ru from its own sources, the money was personally handed over to him and through an intermediary by the commander of one of the units stationed in the Rostov region. The man allegedly wanted to resign from military service early or continue it in the rear. The amount intended from a resident of Almetyevsk to officials of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was 1.6 million rubles. The money was transferred from February to April of this year in several payments. The criminal case is under the jurisdiction of the 384th military investigative committee of Russia. Earlier, in Almetyevsk, the district military commissioner Ruslan Korneikov was detained for receiving a bribe. By court decision, he was placed under house arrest. As reported, Korneikov offered an individual entrepreneur, who was engaged in attracting citizens for contract service, to provide general protection for his activities in exchange for a bribe. In addition, he, using his official position, was looking for candidates among those who voluntarily approached the military commissariat for contract service. Korneikov allegedly passed their data to a private individual for the fictitious registration of these people as recruited. From November 2025 to March 2026, four people were registered in this way. For their attraction, the businessman was supposed to receive 1.2 million rubles, of which, according to law enforcement, 1 million 65 thousand rubles were intended for the military commissioner.
