      Among those who underwent examination, 49.3% (128,783 people) are women. In Tatarstan, a large-scale program for assessing reproductive health continues — as part of the health check-up, 260,934 residents of the republic have already been examined. The initiative is being implemented in accordance with the national project "Family" and provides citizens with the opportunity to undergo free medical examinations to timely detect potential threats to the reproductive system. As reported by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almir Abashev, comfortable conditions have been created in the region for preventive examinations: special zones have been equipped in polyclinics, and dedicated staff has been assigned. The schedule is maximally flexible — appointments are available not only on weekdays but also in the evenings and on Saturdays. The minister reminded that health check-ups are available for citizens aged 18 to 39 once every three years, and for patients over 40 — annually, and urged them to actively take advantage of this opportunity. Among those examined, 49.3% (128,783 people) are women. Moreover, every second woman (72,433) was referred for additional in-depth examination after the initial appointment. Since 2026, all 45 municipal entities of the republic and 78 medical institutions have joined the implementation of the program. Health check-ups are conducted in women's consultations and polyclinics at the place of residence. To participate, one must have a passport and a compulsory health insurance policy. The program includes filling out a questionnaire, a medical examination, and, if necessary, ultrasound diagnostics, laboratory tests, and other studies. The main task is to identify diseases or risk factors that may affect the ability to conceive, the course of pregnancy, and reproductive health in general.
