      An entrepreneur from Naberezhnye Chelny fell victim to a scam and lost his savings in the form of cryptocurrency. The man was trying to exchange it for rubles. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the 47-year-old resident of Chelny followed the instructions of the fraudsters received through messengers. He clicked on a directed link and transferred 40,000 units of cryptocurrency. On the day of the transaction, this was equivalent to 3,892,400 rubles. When the businessman realized his mistake, he contacted the police. A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud on a particularly large scale."
