      Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev ordered to award the employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Naberezhnye Chelny who showed courage during the fire in a high-rise building on Mira Avenue. The emergency occurred on June 28 after a gas explosion in one of the apartments. Hearing the bang, inspectors Alexey Sabirov and Maxim Dayanov immediately headed to the scene. Sabirov was the first to enter the smoke-filled stairwell, began evacuating residents, and clearing debris on the staircases. Soon, Lieutenant Ilgiz Shamsutdinov, returning from the night shift, joined him. Meanwhile, Dayanov organized the evacuation from outside and helped the victims escape from the building. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the police, seven adults and one child were rescued from the fire. Alexey Sabirov himself suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to City Hospital No. 2. By Kolokoltsev's order, employees of the traffic police from Adygea and Belgorod region who distinguished themselves in similar fires will also be rewarded.
