The award was established to recognize outstanding representatives from a wide range of professions – from workers and engineers to doctors, teachers, and entrepreneurs. The competition is held in six categories. In the "Technological Leader" category, the jury will evaluate specialists who have implemented advanced developments, improved production processes, or created innovative products and technical solutions. The "Best Mentor" nomination is aimed at those who have made a significant contribution to the training of young professionals by passing on their accumulated experience and helping to strengthen the personnel potential. Participants in the "Young Specialist" category can be employees aged 18 to 35 who have already demonstrated high achievements in their profession, initiative, and a focus on professional growth. Families where at least three generations have chosen the same profession or those whose total work experience in one field or at one enterprise is at least 50 years are invited to participate in the "Family Labor Dynasties" nomination. The "Veterans' Council" nomination was created for leaders and representatives of organizations of honored workers of enterprises who have made a significant contribution to preserving labor traditions and passing on professional experience. The "Labor Patriotic Education" category is open to leaders and representatives of organizations that have successfully raised the younger generation through labor activities for many years, instilling respect for the profession, public values, and the development of the state.

      Employees of any companies and institutions registered in the territory of the Russian Federation are allowed to participate. The competition takes place in three stages. The acceptance of documents for participation in the regional round is ongoing until July 17, 2026, at the address chelovek_truda@rambler.ru. Winners at the regional level will be announced in September of this year, and the solemn award ceremony at the federal level is scheduled for December.
