      Since the beginning of 2026, 70 participants of the special military operation have turned to the employment centers in Kazan for assistance with employment. 41 people have already found work. This was reported at a staff meeting by the director of the employment center of Tatarstan, Timur Mullin.

      "The employment of participants in the special military operation remains our special focus. It is our duty to help them return to peaceful life, find work, and adapt as much as possible," noted the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin. As Timur Mullin pointed out, one of the key support tools is vocational training. For example, under the national project "Personnel," seven veterans of combat operations have already started their training. At the same time, they increasingly choose modern and high-tech specialties: three are mastering the profession of drone operator, one is studying artificial intelligence. Another three are acquiring in-demand working professions – welder, CNC machine operator, and tractor driver. Four fighters from the special military operation have completed training as forklift drivers and drivers of categories "B" and "C" under the republican program "Employment Support." Seven more veterans will be trained in industrial alpinism, metrology, and the management of cargo and passenger transport. Each program participant is individually supported – from choosing a profession to employment. Additional support measures are also provided for employers creating jobs for people with disabilities, including veterans of combat operations. The state provides a subsidy of up to 200,000 rubles for equipping or furnishing a workplace. "To date, enterprises in Kazan have created five such jobs. Two of them were organized by the municipal unitary enterprise "Metroelektrotrans," where II group disabled individuals are employed as repairmen for rolling stock. The enterprise received a subsidy of 354,000 rubles. Another job for a participant of the special military operation with a II group disability was created by the municipal unitary enterprise "PATP-2" – he was hired as a senior warehouseman. Two jobs have also been opened at the NGO "Kind Kazan," where a call center operator and a project activity specialist are employed," said the speaker.
