In Elabuga, the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity was celebrated solemnly.

      At the "Illusion" cinema, those who exemplify that family is the support, rear, and main wealth in every person's life were honored. The large program "Daisy Field" combined the presentation of awards, heartfelt words of gratitude, and bright creative performances from participants of family festivals. A special atmosphere reigned at the celebration – homely warm, cozy, and bright. Families with children, spouses with many years of joint life experience, veterans, newlyweds – all those for whom family has become the main guide and source of strength gathered in the hall. On behalf of the head of the Elabuga district, Elena Merzon, the deputy head of the Executive Committee of the EMR for social development, greeted those present. She reminded everyone of the history of the holiday and wished happiness and prosperity to the attendees. "There are many children here, which means our country has a future. And may there be even more new families and children. And we will all strive together to give a happy life to our loved ones," said Elena Merzon. A state certificate for maternity capital was presented to the Kryukov-Yusupov family and the Mukhamadiev family. The medal "For Love and Fidelity" was awarded to the family of Sergey and Valentina Lepikhins, as well as to Midekhat and Zariya Kadyrovs. Ivan and Lilia Kryukov met online and then began to communicate in person. Recently, they welcomed their firstborn – Makar. They also plan to preserve traditions in their multinational family. "For the three of us, this is our first joint walk, everything is wonderful. Thank you for supporting families now. We want two children, and then we'll see how it goes." Congratulations and good wishes were joined by Rimma Bulanova, head of the Civil Registry Office of the EMR Executive Committee, Olga Kolesnikova, head of the social protection department of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Elabuga district, and Elmira Akhmetova, head of the culture department of the EMR Executive Committee. They presented memorable gifts to Elabuga families whose "experience" of joint life exceeds 30 years, as well as to young couples. Among the awardees are educators, doctors, and workers from various enterprises and organizations. True guardians of traditions are our veterans, who are carefully passed down from generation to generation. Their life wisdom teaches us the main thing: family is built on fidelity, respect, and the memory of those who defended and continue to defend our future. This was reminded in his speech by the chairman of the Veterans Council (pensioners) of the EMR, Gennady Baganov. He presented letters of gratitude to the Belov and Danilov families. Viktor and Margarita Belov are activists of the volunteer movement and humanitarian workshop "Tanayka Does Not Abandon Its Own!" They have been together for 46 years. Their story is not just a long marriage but a living lesson for everyone who still doubts whether to start a family. "When there is love, there is nothing to fear. All difficulties will pass, but love will remain," says Margarita Belova. "The main thing is to talk, understand each other, and come to agreements. And then everything will be fine." But the true strength of this family reveals itself in their deeds. They came to volunteering simply – they heard about such an initiative, wanted to help, looked around – and stayed. Now their work is a common family affair. "I weave nets with others, and my husband makes looms for us, brings materials, and equipped the room," Margarita shares. "Now everything is neatly arranged on the shelves." In addition, Elena Merzon and Floris Davletov, assistant to the general director of LLC "TPK MTZ-Tatarstan" on general issues, presented backpacks and school supplies to Elabuga first-graders from families in need of support as part of the "Help Get Ready for School" campaign.

      The evening concluded with a screening of the film "Grandfather Fomich," which tells the story of how the head of the family dreams of establishing relationships with his children and grandchildren. And although reconciliation turns out to be not as simple as he expected, Fomich is not one to give up. It is in the family that our national culture and character take root. It is the family that teaches, educates, and passes on traditions and knowledge. There are many positive examples of happy family life on our Earth from which future generations can learn.
