      Since the beginning of the year, 2,804 people in Tatarstan have completed training in "Care Schools." The participants learned the correct methods of caring for people with limited mobility. Among those who completed the courses are 1,475 relatives and 1,329 social workers. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      About the program

      Training is organized as part of the national project "Family." The main goal is to support those who care for the elderly and disabled individuals who require constant assistance. During the classes, they explain and demonstrate how to safely move a person, conduct hygiene procedures, feed seriously ill patients, prevent bedsores, and other complications. The program includes theory and practice in comprehensive social service centers equipped with special equipment and training areas.

      In 2025, 4,983 residents of the republic underwent training: 2,914 relatives and 2,069 social workers. "Care Schools" help not only to acquire skills but also reduce the burden on families. When a person knows how to properly care for a loved one, it is easier for them to cope with everyday tasks.
