      The bailiffs of the Spassky District Department of Bailiffs of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Spassky District, conducted a raid on the roads of the Spassky municipal district. The purpose of the inspection was to identify citizens with debts under enforcement proceedings.

      During the raid, the bailiffs identified three debtors with obligations to credit organizations. Two of them were not driving their own cars but were operating vehicles that included them in the insurance policy as authorized drivers. This once again confirms that bailiffs identify debtors not only among vehicle owners but also among citizens who are actually behind the wheel.

      In relation to one of the men, there was an enforcement proceeding for the recovery of a debt of over 280 thousand rubles, and for the second, over 130 thousand rubles. After initiating enforcement proceedings, the bailiffs checked the property status of the debtors. Since no property that could be seized was identified, in accordance with the Federal Law "On Enforcement Proceedings," a seizure was imposed on their mobile phones with subsequent confiscation.

      The seizure of property is one of the measures of compulsory enforcement and is intended to encourage debtors to fulfill their obligations. The work on debt recovery will continue until the requirements of the enforcement documents are fully met. Another participant in the raid was a woman who owed the bank 25 thousand rubles, including the enforcement fee. She was stopped while driving her own car.

      To avoid the seizure of the vehicle and its subsequent towing to a specialized parking lot, the debtor paid off the debt in full on the spot. After the funds are deposited into the bailiffs' department's escrow account, they will be transferred to the creditor. The enforcement proceedings will be completed after the requirements of the enforcement document are fully met.
