The chief architect of "Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt," Elena Valeeva, showcased visualizations of the interior space of the new Kazan airport terminal. The main design concept is the sky. It is expressed through blue surfaces, ceramic tiles with clouds, perforations, and even five-meter glowing clouds on the ceiling.
In the center of the terminal, there will be an installation with 11 clocks symbolizing the time zones of Russia. It will be visible from three floors. Mosaic "carpets" with national patterns refer to the cultural heritage of Tatarstan. In the waiting and queue areas, numismatic panels will appear—so passengers have something to look at.
According to Valeeva, the building is almost ready, and the finishing is progressing rapidly.
