In Kazan, nearly 2 million rubles were collected from the violator for an illegal dump.
Inspectors from the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, during monitoring of the Soviet district, recorded a truck unloading construction waste onto the ground. The area of the contaminated site was 35 square meters, and the volume of waste was 52 cubic meters. The owner of the vehicle turned out to be an individual. Ecologists assessed the damage to the soil at 1.994 million rubles. The violator refused to voluntarily compensate for it. The Ministry of Ecology appealed to the Upper Uslon District Court, which supported the agency's claims. After the decision came into force, the materials were handed over to the bailiffs, and the amount was collected forcibly in full.
