In the village of Zarechny, today, August 6, there is a real buzz. The territory of the State Budgetary Institution "Nurlat Forestry" has turned into the main venue for professional skills. The participants of the competition have already taken up their chainsaws — they are set to complete a series of complex standards for tree felling. Judges at each stage record not only the seconds but also the impeccable safety techniques. A competition of this level in the Nurlat district is not a coincidence. The local forestry has long established itself as a training ground for specialists, and its employees have repeatedly proven their class at national competitions. For the village of Zarechny, this day has become special: the best loggers and forestry specialists from different corners of the republic have gathered here to prove that their profession is an art where the precision of the strike is more important than strength. The head of the district, Damir Ishkineev, the deputy minister of forestry, Rais Gumerov, and the chief referee of the Russian championships, Alexander Goncharov, addressed the attendees with welcoming words. "Logger is not just a profession, it's a character. It's great that such competitions are held on our land. This is the best way to show the youth how prestigious the working class can be," noted Damir Ishkineev during the opening. The chief judge of the competition, Alexander Goncharov, in turn, emphasized the high level of organization: "The venue in Nurlat is ready at an 'excellent' level. The conditions are as close to real as possible, and the atmosphere is truly combative. I expect spectacular competition from the participants."
