This was announced at the business Monday by the Deputy Head of the Kazan Executive Committee for Social Affairs, Azat Abzalov. A fair of city institutions will unfold in the park, where residents can learn about the "Life Lover" project and sign up for clubs and sections. Various venues will host master classes, exhibitions of achievements, lectures, and sports activities, while a multi-hour concert by creative groups will take place on the main stage. Last year, the Day of Kazan's Life Lover gathered over 12,000 residents. This year, a delegation from China has been invited to the celebration. Foreign guests will attend as part of the international forum "ROSTKI" and will get acquainted with Kazan's practice of active longevity. "Today, it is hard to imagine Kazan without this cohesive community of active retirees who inspire us, engage in creativity, and live brightly and fully," noted Azat Abzalov. The celebration will also open registration for training in the new season of the "Longevity Games." This year, the Spartakiad brought together over 4,500 participants and 2,500 fans. The project became one of the ten winners of the All-Russian selection of the best practices of active longevity, which received 2,683 applications. "Life Lover" has been operating in Kazan for 10 years. Classes in more than 20 areas are held at 100 city venues. In 2025, over 10,000 classes were organized for retirees, with attendance exceeding 796,000.

      "The overwhelming majority of those participating in the 'Life Lover' project are young at heart and will outpace many. Every time you meet them, you see their enthusiasm, desire to live, create, and communicate. We will definitely continue to support both education and active recreation with the heads of districts. It is important to continue to involve new participants in this project," noted Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin.
