      The authorities of Bashkortostan plan to continue selling the republic's stake in Bashneft against the backdrop of a budget deficit. This was stated by the head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, at a closed meeting, as reported by UFA1.RU. "There is a hole in the budget. We sold part of the Bashneft stake. We will sell more. In conditions where money is lacking, the Ministry of Finance recommends selling everything that is available," said the head of the region. At the same time, Khabirov emphasized that despite financial difficulties, the authorities do not intend to abandon the implementation of large infrastructure projects. The construction of an inter-university campus is ongoing, work is being done on sports facilities, and the boxing center is in the design stage. Against this backdrop, the preferred shares of Bashneft reacted with a decline, according to trading platform data. By 16:36 Moscow time, the quotes of the "prefs" fell by 6% to 950 rubles per share, although during trading the decline reached 8.6%. Ordinary shares, on the contrary, rose by 0.8% to 1,271.5 rubles per piece. Recall that in June of this year, Bashkortostan sold part of its stake in Bashneft for 14.8 billion rubles. The decision to sell part of the stake was linked by the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, to the need to replenish the budget of Bashkortostan. At the same time, the Republic retained a blocking stake in the company, which allows participation in making key corporate decisions.
