Young designers were invited to come up with a logo for "Youth of Tatarstan."

      The Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan has announced a republican competition for the creation of the logo "Youth of Tatarstan" – "Татарстан яшьләре". The competition is timed to coincide with the International Youth Day. Young people up to 35 years old, regardless of citizenship and place of permanent residence, can participate. Applications can be submitted individually or as part of a creative group of no more than three people. Participants are invited to create a modern and recognizable visual image of the youth of Tatarstan. The logo should reflect Tatarstan as a region where young people can receive education, build careers, realize their ideas, start families, and choose a place to live. The slogan of the competition is "Tatarstan – the dream of youth" / "Татарстан – яшьләр хыялы". The Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan, Azat Kadyrov, noted that the organizers want to involve young people themselves in creating the visual image of their generation. According to him, each generation has its own vision of modern Tatarstan and the meanings important to it, and the competition will allow authors to propose their options, which may later become part of the youth environment. The work must include a graphic sign reflecting the values of youth and the identity of Tatarstan, as well as logo options in the two state languages of the republic. Participants need to prepare a presentation with a description of the concept, main and monochrome logo options. Additionally, contestants are allowed to present patterns, ornaments, and icons, as well as show how the logo might look on clothing, souvenirs, posters, digital screens, transport, and other media. The works will be evaluated by an expert jury, which will include representatives of the organizers, professional designers, and representatives of creative unions. The competition will take place in two stages. First, experts will select up to 10 best works, then residents of Tatarstan will be able to vote for them. The final evaluation will be equally based on the jury's decision and the results of public voting. Applications are accepted from August 12 to September 20, 2026. Expert selection will take place from September 21 to 30, public voting – from October 1 to 10. The results of the competition are planned to be announced on November 2. The winner will receive 100,000 rubles, the author of the second-place work – 30,000 rubles, and the third – 10,000 rubles.

      Support for youth initiatives aligns with the goals of the national project "Youth and Children". After the competition, the best ideas can be refined by professional designers and combined into the final version of the visual style "Youth of Tatarstan" / "Татарстан яшьләре".
