The Kazan TV tower, one of the most recognizable architectural landmarks of the capital of Tatarstan, will join a large-scale all-Russian parade of architectural and artistic lighting next week. As reported on Wednesday, August 5, by the Radio and Television Transmitting Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, a branch of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network, preparations are underway to brightly celebrate the significant date – the 25th anniversary of the founding of RTRS, which will be officially celebrated on August 13. According to "Tatar-inform," the parade of festive illumination will take place across the entire RTRS network, covering the whole country. On the upgraded media facade of the Kazan TV tower, from eight to eleven in the evening, a specially prepared bright light-dynamic show will be presented for the residents and guests of the city, along with a scrolling banner with congratulatory messages: "Happy Birthday RTRS" and "25 years of RTRS – Happy Anniversary." It should be noted that in 2024, the Kazan TV tower was equipped with new architectural and artistic lighting with a full media facade, which not only allowed it to become a modern business card of the capital of the republic but also significantly improved the aesthetic appearance of the urban environment. RTRS, established by the decree of President Vladimir Putin in 2001, is a system-forming enterprise that unites 79 radio and television centers into a single complex and has strategic significance. It was reported the day before that Tatarstan would allocate 45.5 million rubles for the celebration of City Day and Republic Day: Kazan residents can expect a concert at the "Chasha" with a guest star and fireworks. This year, the main concert program will unfold at the "Kazan" family center and will last at least three hours; Kazan vocalists, dance groups, and a popular performer from Tatarstan will perform.
