The Russian team scored 278.300 points. The team consisted of Maria Borisova, Sofia Ilteryakova, Arina Lavrenova, Alisa Yeremeyeva, Anna Nikolaeva, Sofia Solonskaya, Agata Bareksai, and Daria Melnik. The Bulgarian team took second place in the team all-around with a score of 276.050 points. The representatives of China finished third with a result of 275.400 points. In the group all-around, the Russian gymnasts placed 12th, earning a total of 51.150 points. For the exercise with five balls, the athletes earned 25.550 points. In the qualification for this event, they finished tenth and did not make it to the finals. In the hoop and clubs exercises, the Russian team also did not advance to the decisive stage. The gymnasts received 25.600 points and took 15th place. The World Championship in rhythmic gymnastics is taking place in Frankfurt am Main from August 12 to 16. The Russian team is competing in the tournament without national symbols. On May 17, the Executive Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation allowed Russian athletes to participate in international competitions under the national flag and with the anthem. However, restrictions continue to apply to some tournaments, the conditions of which were approved before this decision was made.
