       Tatarstan has given the green light to the implementation of a new ambitious project in the field of tourism and sports, aimed at attracting lovers of active winter recreation to the republic.

       It became known on Tuesday, August 11, that the State Expertise and Pricing Department of the Republic of Tatarstan for Construction and Architecture issued a positive conclusion on the project documentation concerning the construction of the first phase of a modern ski complex. The future year-round resort is planned to be built in a picturesque area near the village of Ileber in the territory of the Sabinsky municipal district. According to the approved project, at the very first and capital-intensive stage of construction, the contractor will have to perform a colossal amount of earthworks, including the creation of an artificial hill that will serve as the basis for future tracks. In addition, work will be carried out to create reliable foundations and bases for all buildings, external electrical networks and communication lines will be laid, necessary technological equipment will be installed, and landscaping of the adjacent territory will begin. Key elements of the first phase will include the construction of a training slope, a full-fledged ski track, and a passenger cable car. For these purposes, one hundred sixty-two million rubles have already been allocated from the budget. It was previously reported that work on the construction of the "Aero Bridge" cable car in Kazan could begin as early as next year, 2027. According to experts' estimates, the total cost of the project is approximately 6 billion rubles. A full-scale presentation, according to the Investment Development Agency, will be held later.
