       In Kazan, work is in full swing to create a new picturesque viewing platform in Gorky Park, which is expected to be a real gift for residents and tourists for the upcoming Republic of Tatarstan Day.

       As reported on Monday, August 17, by the press service of the city hall, the overall construction readiness of the facility has already reached 80 percent, and all work is being carried out as part of the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." According to "Tatar-inform," Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin noted that this year large-scale landscaping is taking place in five public spaces, and the idea of creating the viewing platform was suggested to the authorities by concerned residents of the city. The viewing area, covering 154 square meters, dramatically extends onto Vishnevsky Street and protrudes two and a half meters beyond the edge of the slope. To ensure a reliable foundation for the structure, 46 piles had to be installed. The railing made of multilayer tempered glass, 54 meters long, will not obstruct the view; a similar solution has already been used at the Kamal Theater. The evening appearance has been developed with special attention. The project architect Eduard Mukhametgareev stated that the perimeter will be illuminated with built-in LED elements, additional coziness will be created by 7 tall lanterns and 14 lamps directed at the tree crowns. As of today, work remains to complete the installation of lighting supports, cameras, 20 benches, and signs.
