       The Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan have officially started in Moscow. This year, the event has become a good tradition and is being held for the sixteenth time.

       The solemn opening of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Moscow, which is being held in the Russian capital for the sixteenth time this year and is an important event in the cultural life of both regions. As reported by the press service of the Plenipotentiary Representation of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, the program of festive events, following a long-standing tradition, began with a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the great Tatar poet and enlightener Gabdulla Tukay. The Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic in the Russian Federation, Ravil Akhmetshin, welcoming the participants of the ceremony, emphasized that for many years the Days of Culture have invariably begun at the monument to the outstanding poet with the participation of writers from the republic. He expressed sincere joy that not only well-known and recognized authors come to Moscow, but also young writers, who are the future of Tatar literature. It is noteworthy that this year marks the 15th anniversary of the solemn opening of the Gabdulla Tukay monument in Moscow, which was installed in April 2011, on the day of his 125th anniversary. The ceremony of laying flowers was also attended by the author of the monument, the People's Artist of Russia Salavat Shcherbakov. It was previously reported that this year in Tatarstan, the implementation of a large-scale and extremely important program for the modernization of the road network continues, for which over 20 billion rubles have been allocated from the budget.
