Nevertheless, there is no downtime; the machine operators work around the clock. Heavy agricultural machinery is piling up no less substantial heaps of sweet root crops. Despite the weather conditions, Zainsk agrarians have managed to grow a respectable sugar beet crop. In total, this crop occupies more than 9,500 hectares in the district.

      Three combines operate in the “Alga” division of the “Zay” agricultural firm. The machine operators work in two shifts; operations are round-the-clock.

      Insaf Nuriev is working on the sugar beet harvest for the second season. Although his official work record is still small, the young specialist has plenty of experience. Insaf first sat behind the wheel of agricultural machinery at the age of eight.

      This season the sugar beet harvest is taking place under difficult conditions, but thanks to the agricultural workers who are wholeheartedly committed to their work, one can be sure the job will be completed. And the roar of engines in the fields will die down only after the last sugar beet has been hauled away.
