“Renat Suleymanovich made an invaluable contribution to the development of cardiac surgery in our city and the Republic of Tatarstan. Thanks to him, a modern cardiac surgery service was created at the Emergency Medical Care Hospital in our city, and thousands of lives have been saved,” the mayor said.
He also said that relatives of Renat Akchurin took part in the unveiling ceremony — his wife, Natalya, and his son, Maksim. The city’s medical community and activists also attended the ceremony.
