A call for applications for the volunteer award "Kind Tatarstan" has begun in Tatarstan.
In Kazan, as part of the Republic Day celebrations, the application campaign for the Republican Volunteer Award "Kind Tatarstan" 2025 was launched. On the region’s main stage, the Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rinat Sadykov, together with volunteers, solemnly announced the start of the application period.
The award is intended to recognize leaders of Tatarstan’s volunteer movement in various fields — from healthcare and ecology to culture, inclusion and assistance in the area of the special military operation (SVO). Participation is possible in three categories: "Volunteers," "Teams" and "Business." In addition, the titles "Volunteer of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "Heroic Act of the Year" will be determined separately.
Sadykov emphasized that the award has become a good opportunity to make oneself known and to show the importance of good deeds. He noted that the project celebrates its fifth anniversary in 2025 and has been implemented all this time with the support of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
Applications are accepted until September 22, 2025, on the website dobro.ru. The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the year with the participation of the republic’s leadership.
Organizers reported that this year new nominations will appear — "Volunteer of the Year in the Field of Inclusion" and "Heroic Act of the Year." Contestants’ achievements will be evaluated by experts from relevant ministries, volunteer associations and the resource center.
Executive Director of the Information and Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ayrat Mubarakshin, recalled that last season 373 applications were submitted from 45 municipalities, and the best participants received wide recognition thanks to an information campaign featuring portraits of the winners on billboards across the republic.
The winner last season was Viktor Voropaev, an activist of humanitarian missions and the movement "Yardäm yanäshä! Pomoshch ryadom!" (Help Nearby!).
The award is organized by the Ministry for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the autonomous nonprofit organization "Information and Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan."
