"You're lucky to live in this city!": Tatyana Bulanova before performing in Kazan

      Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tatyana Bulanova, the headliner of the celebratory concert in honor of the Republic of Tatarstan Day and Kazan City Day, gave an interview to Tatar-inform before her performance. The singer spoke about her warm impressions of the capital of Tatarstan and answered questions about her creative plans.

      According to the artist, returning to Kazan was especially moving for her after her recent participation in the "New Wave" festival. Bulanova noted that it was a great honor for her to be invited to such a large-scale event.

      "Earlier at the concert I said that I admire Kazan, the city's neatness, its amenities, its beauty. I am very glad that we were invited to celebrate the Republic of Tatarstan Day and City Day," the artist said.

      Bulanova added that Kazan wins her over with its well-kept appearance and is beautiful at any time of year.

      "You are very lucky to live in this city! I think it's a great source of pride. We were here in winter too. But we didn't see any huge heaps of snow — everywhere was clean and somehow cozy. In summer Kazan is simply stunning. There are absolutely no disappointments; with each visit to Kazan we are more and more charmed," the singer said.

      As for the local flavor, among her favorite Tatar dishes Bulanova mentioned chak-chak, but she clarified that due to her diet she couldn't indulge in other culinary delights.

      For today's performance Bulanova promised to include hits well known to the public. Fans of new releases will have to wait a little, but work on new material, she said, is actively underway.

      "There won't be any new songs today, but generally I'll say that I'm recording a lot of new material now. There's hope that some of it will become a hit," the singer announced.

      Tatyana Bulanova concluded the interview with wishes for the residents and guests of Tatarstan: "I would like to wish everyone love, health, happiness, a peaceful sky above your heads, prosperity, and a calm life. May everything planned be surely fulfilled."
