      A large-scale renovation of the Korabelnaya Roscha sanatorium-preventorium has begun in Nizhnekamsk. Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of SIBUR Mikhail Karisalov took part in the ceremony to drive the first pile at the site of the future building.

      Korabelnaya Roscha will become a new link in the company’s wellness system alongside the corporate wellness center SIBUR Yug in Anapa and the children’s camps Solnechny and Yunost. Each year, 9,000 company employees and their family members from all regions where the company operates will undergo wellness treatments at the new sanatorium. The number of guests will increase by 35%. Investments in the project will exceed 6 billion rubles.

      The reconstruction will improve conditions and expand wellness and recreation opportunities for employees and their family members, as well as increase the number of patients accepted.

      The new building will have 120 rooms, including six inclusive rooms for mobility-impaired guests. Connecting rooms will be created for large families. Each session the preventorium will be able to accept up to 354 people for wellness treatment (for comparison: before the renovation each intake accommodated no more than 262 people).

      Eight medical programs have been developed: Healthy Spine and Joints, Life Without Pain, Healthy Blood Vessels and Heart, Metabolism and Weight Correction, Unrestricted Breathing, Comfortable Digestion, and two rehabilitation programs. The medical building is planned to be equipped with modern equipment. In particular, a magnetoturbotron, a magnetic therapy chair, hyperbaric chambers and high-intensity lasers will be installed. The staff will be staffed with qualified specialists. The new complex will be inclusive — with infrastructure adapted for guests with disabilities. Not only current employees but also production veterans will be able to rest and recover at the sanatorium.

      The new modern wellness complex will include a spa wellness zone, eight banyas, a 24-meter pool with a panoramic view of the pine forest, children’s pools, therapeutic massage rooms, a gym and a physical therapy hall, and a fitobar. The sanatorium will also feature a dining area for 250 people with a buffet line and a separate children’s dining area.

      The area of the sanatorium building will also grow: it will double to 20,000 sq. m.

      On the sanatorium grounds there will be a summer cinema, walking and cycling paths, playgrounds, a football field and an open ice rink, sports and training areas, and a venue for outdoor events. Not only will a new sanatorium building with supporting infrastructure be built here, but comprehensive landscaping of the territory adjacent to the sanatorium will also be carried out. The concept was developed by the Wowhaus architectural bureau; the general designer is Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt.

      “By ensuring the country’s technological sovereignty, we not only create new production facilities and modernize existing ones, but also develop social infrastructure for wellness and recreation. After the renovation, the Korabelnaya Roscha sanatorium-preventorium in Nizhnekamsk will become an important part of our corporate wellness system, meeting the highest standards. This project will not only renew the medical infrastructure but will also create comfortable conditions for the rest and recovery of our employees and their families,” emphasized Marina Medvedeva, Board Member and Managing Director of the company.

      The renovation of Korabelnaya Roscha is part of a comprehensive corporate program to preserve employee health. The company continues to implement an integrated approach to maintaining and supporting employee health: employees have access to 38 Health Centers and three company clinics. Each employee can receive medical services at more than 4,500 clinics across the country. The company creates opportunities for sanatorium-resort treatment, children’s recreational wellness programs, as well as full healthy nutrition and physical activity. A program of pre-shift medical examinations in a remote format is implemented at all company enterprises. 100% of employees are provided with voluntary health insurance (VHI) policies; in addition, preferential insurance is provided for their family members.
