      During his performance at the "New Wave" music festival in Kazan, Philipp Kirkorov slipped on the steps and fell. The performer quickly got up and continued his performance.

      Pop singer Philipp Kirkorov fell down the steps during a concert in Kazan. The incident occurred at the moment when the artist was climbing the stage structures. Despite the fall, the singer quickly got up and continued his performance without interruption. According to a Mash source, after the incident Kirkorov complained of weakness, thirst and "cotton legs." As the artist's director Ekaterina Uspenskaya stated, the performer did not suffer any serious injuries as a result of the incident. After the performance the singer clarified that he had always been afraid of stairs. It is worth noting that this is already the second accident involving the artist recently — earlier he suffered burns in a fire on stage during another performance. Kirkorov himself previously told the media that the wounds on his arm still have not fully healed: "The hand just won't get better. But oh well... Scars adorn a man." According to the channel's source, it is precisely because of complaints about his health that Kirkorov cannot currently return to regular performances. The artist's next scheduled events are planned for February 2026. According to the channel, a serious illness in Kirkorov was suspected after the pyrotechnics incident at the concert in April — the artist's wounds were slow to heal. "Now he is given daily insulin injections and they hope that the wound will heal soon," the channel writes. The performer officially confirmed for the first time that he has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
