      Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived at the SCO summit. It will begin on Sunday with a reception hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Russian president’s press service reports. The events are taking place at the Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center in Tianjin. taken from kremlin.ru The program will begin on September 1 with greetings from the Chinese leader. Afterwards there will be a meeting to discuss the SCO’s work for 2024–2025, strengthening and modernizing the organization, cooperation in politics, security, the economy and other areas. Leaders will be presented with about 20 documents. Leaders of SCO member states, observers (Mongolia), dialogue partners (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Egypt, Cambodia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Turkey) and Turkmenistan as a guest have been invited to the summit. Heads of the UN, ASEAN, the EEC, the CSTO and other organizations will also attend.
