Healing production: a beekeeper from Tatarstan makes ointments for fighters of the special military operation.
Ramil Khayretdinov from the Almetyevsky District has run an apiary for more than 15 years. Honey and beekeeping products have become for him not only a life's work but also a respite. Today he uses apicultural resources to help fighters at the front — he makes healing ointments and sends them to the area of the special military operation.
The basis of the ointment is zabrus, the top part of the comb cut off during honey extraction. To it Ramil adds sea buckthorn or castor oil, creating a natural balm for wound healing.
“Such an ointment contains 19 beneficial enzymes. It helps to recover faster and reduce inflammation,” the beekeeper explains.
Khayretdinov admits that fighters often turn to him, and he tries to respond to every request.
“It just soothes the soul. I help the guys in some way. They fight for us and get wounded. I try to make them heal more quickly,” says Ramil Khayretdinov.
Each batch contains 50–60 jars of the healing balm. Volunteers deliver them to the front along with humanitarian aid.
Earlier, in his annual address to the State Council of Tatarstan, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, thanked volunteers for their important contribution to supporting the special military operation. “People do this sincerely and from the heart, bringing together other caring citizens and assembling whole teams of like-minded people,” the head of the republic noted.
Later the Rais of Tatarstan also spoke about support for participants in the special operation at a meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in the Moscow Kremlin. “There is a very large humanitarian assistance effort. We go to every city, to every municipality, we work. The population is actively engaged in collecting and so are our companies: 4,389 tons have been assembled and sent,” he remarked.
