A 900-meter section of the Mamadysh bypass will be repaired in Tatarstan. The work is being carried out under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" on the 4.6–5.6 km section in the Mamadysh district of the republic, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
"Work at the site includes regeneration of the existing asphalt concrete pavement with the addition of M-800 crushed stone and cement, widening of the base and the construction of widening ditches," the statement says.
Road crews will lay a lower layer of pavement from an asphalt concrete mix and a top layer of stone-mastic asphalt, and will reinforce the shoulders with a crushed stone-sand mixture.
Work is already nearing completion on the repair of the bridge located on the road and on the installation of a longitudinal drainage system.
This year, under the national project, more than 150 kilometers of regional roads will be repaired, including the artificial structures located on them.
