      – Mikhail, a month has already passed since UNICS began training camp. During that time our club has played three friendly matches. How would you rate the team's condition right now?

      – I believe we are in good shape. Despite having several injured players, UNICS is showing team basketball. I think that at the upcoming tournament in Saint Petersburg we will play even more cohesively.

      – What is UNICS's goal in the Kondrashin and Belov Cup?

      – There is only one instruction — to win. In the first match we play Parma. They are a strong opponent, so we are preparing for a tough game. Moreover, the Perm team are our opponents in the season opener. We will fight to reach the final and to win the Kondrashin and Belov Cup.

      – In your opinion, what will Perm surprise with in the upcoming season?

      – Parma's roster has changed significantly. Samson Ruzhentsev returned to CSKA, some leaders left the club. New foreign players have arrived to replace them. I believe the Perm side has a cohesive roster, and already now they are showing fairly strong basketball.
