It is specified that previously scheduled interview dates remain and will not be canceled. However, new appointments must be made in accordance with the updated rules.

      Previously, citizens of Russia were able to submit applications for nonimmigrant visas at any U.S. embassy or consulate, regardless of their place of residence.
