Bastrykin has taken control of the investigation into the attack by teenagers on a married couple in Nizhnekamsk.

      In Nizhnekamsk investigators opened a criminal case after a group of teenagers attacked a man and a woman. As a result of the incident a man was injured and hospitalized. Seven minors have been detained on suspicion of the crime, the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan reported.

      Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has taken the investigation under his personal control. He ordered the head of the Investigative Directorate for the Republic of Tatarstan, Valeriy Lipsky, to provide a detailed report on the progress of the investigation. In addition, Bastrykin requested information on the reasons and circumstances that may have prompted the teenagers to commit the crime.

      The investigative authorities continue to establish all the details of what happened.
