This was reported by the press service of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the VFD. On September 17 in Orenburg Region the plenipotentiary will take part in the ceremonial inauguration of the region’s head, Yevgeny Solntsev. The next day, September 18, in Perm Krai Igor Komarov will attend an event where he will present the newly elected governor Dmitry Makhonin.
Recall that from September 12 to 14, 2025, Russia held a Unified Voting Day. Gubernatorial elections were held in Perm Krai and Orenburg Region, after which Dmitry Makhonin and Yevgeny Solntsev won with 71% and 84% of the vote, respectively.
