In Kazan, an abandoned bridge posing a threat to residents' safety was discovered.

      The Prosecutor’s Office of the Aviastroitelny District of Kazan uncovered a vehicular bridge over the Solonka River in the Kadyshево neighborhood that had been left unattended. It is used by residents of two garden non-commercial partnerships — SNT "Runo" and SNT "Solonka" — for access to the city. This was reported by the prosecutor’s press service.

      The structure is not assigned to any local self-government body, and its technical condition is not monitored.

      The district prosecutor’s office applied to the court demanding that the Kazan executive committee take the bridge onto its balance to ensure its proper maintenance and operation.

      The court fully satisfied the prosecutor’s claims.
