      Tatarstan’s Vice Premier, former Minister of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan Rinat Sadykov, announced a large-scale educational initiative to create robotics and unmanned technologies sections based at teen clubs and youth centers in all districts of the republic. The project is aimed at popularizing engineering professions among the younger generation. According to Sadykov, at present similar clubs do not operate in all municipalities, but there is significant demand from young people. The new program provides training in assembling robots and unmanned aerial vehicles, holding competitions, and developing technical creativity.

      The initiative is intended to form a mass movement of young engineers and increase interest in technical specialties. It is expected that participation in the clubs will help schoolchildren with career guidance and potentially prepare future applicants to technical universities and colleges.

      The implementation of the project will make it possible, over several years, to create in the republic a large community of young people passionate about robotics and unmanned technologies. This is consistent with the strategic tasks of developing technical education and training personnel for the high-tech sectors of Tatarstan’s economy.
