Damir Fattakhov was elected mayor of Bugulma.

      Today in the large hall of the Bugulma administration the first session of deputies of the city council of the fifth convocation was held. The main issue on the agenda was the election of a new mayor of the city. The session was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Kamaltynov and State Council deputy Rifnur Suleymanov.

      Twenty deputies entered the new composition of the city council, and all of them were present at the session. The agenda included five items.

      The chairman of the territorial election commission Vyacheslav Naumov announced the results of the elections of the city council deputies. After that the head of the United Russia faction Galina Dulova proposed the candidacy of Damir Fattakhov for the post of mayor. In an open vote all deputies unanimously supported his candidacy.
