Massage therapists and physician assistants are leading in the growth of salary offers in the medical field.

      Median salary offers in the medical sector in Russia in August of this year were 15% higher compared to the same period last year. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing analysts from the job and personnel search service Zarplata.ru. The largest increase was recorded for massage therapists — their offered earnings rose by 25% and amounted on average to 81,250 rubles. For physician assistants the figure grew by 22% to reach 55,000 rubles. Salary offers for doctors increased by 12% to about 80,000 rubles, and for nurses (female and male) by 11% to 48,500 rubles. According to the service, the profession of doctor remains one of the most in-demand on the labor market: the number of vacancies increased by 7% compared with last year. The number of job offers for clinical psychologists doubled, which, according to analysts, reflects society’s growing interest in mental health issues and psychological support. At the same time, job-seeker activity has increased: the number of responses to vacancies in medicine rose by 16%. Interest in offers is most often shown by physician assistants — up 30% — as well as nurses — plus 18%.
