Tatarstan ranked among the top five Russian regions in logistics development.

      Tatarstan took fourth place in the ranking of regions with the most developed logistics. According to the study, the republic received 38 points, Vedomosti reports. Experts evaluated 10 indicators: the length and density of roads, the volume of freight and passenger turnover, the significance of the transport component in the region's economy, and other criteria. First place in this ranking went to Moscow Region (56 points). Moscow took second place (53 points), and St. Petersburg was third (40). Sevastopol closed out the top five with 37 points. In positions 6–10 of the top were Nizhny Novgorod Region (36), Krasnodar Krai (34), Belgorod Region (33), Sverdlovsk Region (30) and Voronezh Region (30).
