Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences by sending a wreath to the farewell ceremony for Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and director Tigran Keosayan. Wreaths were also sent by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and other well-known figures. Around 30 wreaths have been placed at the church, TASS reports.
Tigran Keosayan, who died on September 26 at the age of 59 after a long illness, was a prominent figure in the arts, president of the international film festival "Eurasia-Kinofest" and a member of the Guild of Producers of Russia.
His filmography includes more than 15 works, among them "Poor Sasha" and "Silver Lily of the Valley." The farewell will take place at the Armenian Church in Moscow at 3:00 p.m. Moscow time. Photo: TASS
