Major renovations of more than 200 healthcare facilities are being completed in Tatarstan.

      In Tatarstan, the renovation of healthcare facilities is approaching completion, under which 226 medical institutions are being upgraded at a total cost of more than 3,000,000,000 rubles. This was reported by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin.

      The minister noted that 56 child milk distribution points have already been completed, work has been finished at 151 primary care facilities, 117 feldsher-obstetric stations have been renovated, 20 central district hospitals, 10 district polyclinics and four children’s polyclinics have been repaired, and 19 inpatient facilities are undergoing major overhauls.

      Contractors have seven facilities left to hand over, where the average score for completed work is already 87%. The renovation works are being carried out as part of the national project “Long and Active Life.”
