UNICS routed Parma in the season opener.

      The first match of the 2025/26 regular season took place at the Basket-Hall, where UNICS convincingly defeated Perm’s Parma 103:83.

      The intrigue in the game disappeared right at the start: in the first quarter UNICS pulled ahead by 10 points, by 20 in the second, and by 30 in the third. The main question was whether the Kazan team would pass the hundred-point mark. The symbolic milestone was reached with two minutes left in the game, and in spectacular fashion: center Marcus Bingham slammed it home after a pass from Paris Lee.

      Unlike in preseason games, the Kazan team appeared almost at full strength: only Dmitry Kulagin did not play. The brightest performance came from newcomer Bingham, who scored 27 points, including two three-pointers from two attempts. Andrey Lopatin finished with 15 points, Paris Lee with 14, and Deshon Pierre with 13.

      In their next game UNICS will play Zenit in Saint Petersburg. The match will start on November 4 at 14:00 MSK. On the 11th the Kazan team will host Uralmash.
