Thus, according to Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, the state will definitely fulfill all its obligations to pensioners. Despite the fact that there are certain difficulties in the economy now, the indexation of all state social payments will definitely be carried out.
At the same time, the head of the Social Fund, Sergey Chirkov, said that from 2026 a new pension indexation mechanism will be introduced. Now pensions will be indexed in two stages. First, payments will be increased from February 1 by the level of official inflation based on the results of the past year. This concerns insurance pensions, which are received by the majority of pensioners.
And from April 1 there will be a second indexation. It will be carried out taking into account the revenues that the fund received in the previous year.
Experts note that the new pension indexation rules will allow payments to increase at a more intensive rate. The average pension amount next year in Russia should exceed 28 thousand rubles.
